Alan Oliver is a professional artist with over forty years experience, working in watercolours, oils, acrylics and pastels.
His work is mostly landscape based. He is essentially interested in capturing special light falling on any subject.

Alan has exhibited in most of the London art societies including the Royal Watercolour Society, The Royal Institute of Watercolour Painters, The Royal Oil Institute, The Pastel Society and the Royal Academy.
He is a member of the Leicestershire Society of Artists and is President of the Leicestershire Pastel Society.
He has had seven books of his work published.
